WTF - in a good way

So I started this morning with that note taking up half of my screen. After my initial anger subsided, I realized that we had Hot Chip playing in the background. Seriously it's just a student video nothing to be bothered by ... unless you want the same team to work on your next video :D Hello! I'm Inji *paws screen*

Alcatraz to Croatia

Meet Lars Erik Bratveit. By day a super-hero I.T vigilante that whips coaxial cables into shape (wow you so know I don't know a thing about computers etc) and by night and in his spare time he traverses the planet and does a lot of photography. Check out his website here.

UBTIS! OI!
So in lieu of hanging out and networking, Tree Forest came across this super flyer promoting Gym Box. What really got me was the Esctasy pills with G & B's on the front and the fab colour system that highlight the classes where you can improve on your Chav Fighting, Boob aerobics and Bitch Boxing.

Post Secret

Once in a while, I reintroduce Post Secret. It's a blog where people send in their secrets anonymously via postcard. Some of them are brilliant, soul baring and oh-so-delicious.

Brand Spanking Blue!

Okay guys, meet Norwegian graphic/web designer Kristine Taugbol. Shes pretty experimental with her identity work which I feel is more of what we should see in the future. I am bored to death of clinical logos but hey we've all been guilty of a few. ;) This one time at Band Camp...
Celebrity Sell-Out Part 1
I had a working weekend down south in Epsom. I got on the train today to see THAT.
Why Iggy? WHY !!! You put my High School nick-name to shame! This is how NOT to sponsor a product...
Whilst the Spelling Bee (I seriously can not believe I am saying this) kicked Iggy Pop's Swiftcover ad.
When I'm ready... I'll put the Swiftcover TVC.

Mac Fontaine of The Manatee 5 sent in this discovery, a Water-Powered Jet Pack.

This makes no sense whatsoever, but it is brilliant. The people behind the video, Pleix have a portfolio with a range of ideas splattered in movement.

These are a few of Leah Tinari's painted gems. Her inspiration comes from photographs that have been discarded.
There is a beauty in all things that have been left behind. Even if you don't think so.

Chinese New Year Gifts!
On my way out, I found a lovely big envelope that sailed all the way from Asia. I got a nifty gift from my friend, Yi-Ying in Taiwan. I got a Tutelary God :D
A tutelary spirit or patron deity serves as the guardian of, or an entity to watch over and protect, a particular site, person kinda like Athena in Greek Mythology. This one comes out during Chinese Halloween and is the bouncer of Ghosts :D.
The detail is just insane. The folding wasn't too difficult but best crafted by small dexterous fingers.
Oi Chengister, please weigh in on this when the sun isn't shining so brightly in San Fran.
